How you’ve guys have been? It’s the early of the second half of the year so i’m hoping the best coming to you previously, and of course, in the next half.

Our brother, Rigoberto Santana has made things easier again. He previously made the Easy Installer for Al-Quran for PSP for English and French Translation and now, he did it for Malay Language :D It’s for Windows only since it’s on EXE. Can anyone do the DMG version of it?

I’m sad to tell you that this is my last update for this project. I might make a comeback to this project but in the meantime, looking at the development, it’s not in the good shape. I’m happy to announce release for Malay Translation for Al-Quran for PSP v1.4 This release just only add Malay Translation. So now Al-Quran for PSP is available in three languages

  1. English
  2. French
  3. Malay

This Malay Translation was taken from Quran.al-Islam.com. Thanks to the translator/volunteers with some from them from Usrah Institution, Multimedia University Cyberjaya. Special Thanks to Soleh Kamarulazizi from ABIM Pulau Pinang, Malaysia for contributing some translation. And just in case I left you out (translator/volunteers), please remind me. Me myself completed from Surah 1 till 11 and filling some loophole after that.

If you were thinking to do translation too, to keep it authentic and accurate, there’s still three languages available to made. They’re

  1. Deutsch
  2. Turkce
  3. Indonesia

Contact us to know how you can made those three translations.On the other hand, even the website remained stale and slow without updates, the downloads still happens and let me share with you the track record of it.

  1. English 1.4 = 7081 ( till this date )
  2. French 1.4 = 926
  3. And all previous version, for your info, is in between 2000-4000

Although we haven’t been updating this site for quire 6 months, we’re still alive :) It’s just a shift of focus because this is a free project. Not to mention, this is an OpenSource Project. So feel free to do something but please, you are not free to change the content of al-Quran itself. By the mean of OpenSource, you’re free to modify/Improve the framework, but of course with credits.

Another nifty thing is this application can run directly at your Internet Radio. There’s an Icon of Al-Quran PSP. For those who didn’t have Internet Radio function in your PSP, you can use Internet Browser to use this application. just type in ‘ file:/psp-alquran/qpsp.swf’ and it will work.

For Mac Users, you need to use the previous installation file.

needless to say that it’s been a while for the updates since Al-Quran for PSP v 1.4 have been released altogether with French Translations. but recently there’s another islamic application meant for PSP user.

Introducing Islam PSP v5.0 from Burows. they are from IPC-KW. That application  helps Muslim PSP users to perform prayers and do the necessary ablutions, either wudu or tayammum, prior to handling the Quran or performing ritual prayers.

The developers currently working for english translation. so you just need to wait for a while.

They want to showcase Al-Quran for PSP during their launching of MSC Malaysia Creative Innovation Centre and Incubation Centre last tuesday, 18 February 2008. This is a great acknowledgment upon our project. We’re also allowed to promote Eid Ul Adha Mobile Magazine, which is another product related to The Raise Project. So here below is the project showcase of our works.

On 6-9 September 2007, we were invited by Jamiyah Singapore to present on “One World Many Cultures” exhibition under Science and Technology category. Indeed this is our first time to exhibit to the public but Alhamdulillah, thank God everything went fine.

What we do on the exhibition is promoting Islamic Content for PSP. We’ve also showcased our Interactive CD, which consist of 5 previous edition of this magazine and also Al-Quran for PSP viewable on the PC. This way, for those who didn’t have a PSP, can experience on how to use Al-Quran for PSP. Aside from our Interactive CD that will be published soon, we also selling our T-Shirt, giving the flyers, and also for the visitors that bring their PSP, we install Al-Quran for PSP and the magazine on the spot. Convenient.
