Al-Quran for PSP ( Sooner )
Assalamualaikum warahmatullah and peace be upon you, dear readers.
Sorry for late updates, last 1 May 2007, we have a launching ceremony plus a public demonstration of The Raise : Islamic Content for PlayStation Portable held at Putrajaya, Malaysia. That night actually an Usrah Institution MMU Cyberjaya Charity Dinner, aims to raising fund for orphanage houses. Alongside on that night, our team + PSPfans.net demonstrators was given opportunity to demonstrate the Islamic Content on the PSP to the mass.

Click more.. the news didn’t end here
That night, The Raise, in conjunction with PSPFans.net as official demonstrator, demonstrate the magazine and also Al-Quran for PSP, beta version. We’ve receive a lot of positive feedbacks but majority of the attendees that night suggesting to include al-Quran recitation. Well at the moment, I’m unable to put the recitation because of PSP processor limitations on processing Flash programming. There’s other possible solution but till i end my studies which is only 3 weeks left, i decide to hold on. Priority on study first. This application will be distributed FREE OF CHARGE ( and i really mean you ). No need to pay anything, same goes to our magazine.

( This is the intro picture )
( This is the real-life view of the application, click for larger view )
For the meantime, if you have any question regarding this project, please email us at raise@flavert.com
Lastly, we’ve been featured at The Star Malaysia, and in addition and clarification, The Raise is based on 6-people team,( 2 authors, 2 artist, 1 animator – for branding later on ) and for this al-Quran for PSP, we’ve recruited around 10 volunteers from Bureau of Information & Promotion, Usrah Institution MMU Cyberjaya, to do the copying job. The contents of al-Quran for PSP was taken from http://quran.al-islam.com
Lastly, we’re so sorry to make you readers/psp users have to wait for the public release ( but hey if you’re interested with BETA version, mail us yah ). All of us, the raise comrades and al-quran for psp volunteers are struggling with exam and presentation this three weeks. Wish us luck. We’ll need it.
Till then, after 19 May yah. for the Raise #4, and al-Quran for PSP public Release ver 1.00
Jazakumullah hu Khairan, and wishing dear readers a happy, sunny, cheerful, blissful day from God, Allah S.W.T
P/S : This application actually really suit with PlayStation Portable due to it’s nature of portability. it will not distributed in CD-copy and will be hosted here in this website. So bookmark this website and wait for the updates yah.
P P/S : This is not my ( ikhwan nazri ) Final Year Project in my studies
P P P/S : we’re currently busy with exams and presentations, so sorry for late reply for your emails.

I am currently yrying to memorise al-quran,
What’s lacking in current al-quran CD or translation is meaning or words translation. If this can be developed, al-quran content can be fully explored and memorizing is quite easy. Good works guys!

dear khamil hashim. the effective method of memorizing al-Quran is by reciting when we have free time, repition so many times.. with playstation portable as handheld device, muslim gamers can practice memorizing al-Quran and also serve as source to non-muslim gamers if they want to read and get to know about al-Quran
this al-quran do come with english translation. but only will released after 19 may since i still hv some minor bugs and glitches. bookmark our website ya.. thanks
